ACTA2 (Actin, Aortic Smooth Muscle, Alpha-actin-2, Cell Growth-inhibiting Gene 46 Protein, ACTSA, ACTVS, GIG46)
Description:
Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:1000
Western Blot: 0.01-0.03ug/ml, observed in human duodenum lysates on ~45kD bands
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
