ACTN3, NT (Alpha-actinin-3, Alpha-actinin Skeletal Muscle Isoform 3, F-actin Cross-linking Protein) |
|
|
Description: Alpha-actinin is an actin-binding protein with multiple roles in different cell types. ACTN3 expression is limited to skeletal muscle. It is localized to the Z-disc and analogous dense bodies, where it helps to anchor the myofibrillar actin filaments. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:20,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
