Activin A Receptor type IB (ACVR1B, Activin Receptor-like Kinase 4, Activin Receptor Type 1B Precursor, ACTR-IB, ACVRLK4, ALK4) |
|
|
Description: Activin RIB, also known as activin-like kinase 4 (ALK-4), is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase that complexes with Activin type II receptors, Activin RII or Activin RIIB, to form the heteromeric signaling complex. Several members of the TGF-beta family, including the various Activins, Nodal, and GDF-1, have been shown to signal via the Activin RIB and Activin RII/IIB complex. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml, 10ul labels 1-2.5 x 10e5 cells in 100-200ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Activin type I receptor IB extracellular domain (aa24-126). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C for short-term only. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
