Description: Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA. Not suitable for FACS. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 5% nonfat milk in PBS for blocking. Variable size on gel expected, as there are several processed forms of the protein. Immunohistochemistry/ Immunocytochemistry: Tissues should be either fresh frozen or fixed in cold acetone. Tissues should be blocked in 10% normal goat serum in PBS. Antibody should be incubated in 10% normal goat serum at a dilution of 1:200 and incubated 2 hours at RT or overnight at 4°C. The antibody can be visualized by fluorescence. Recommended Positive Control Tissue: Testis Expected Staining: Germ cells Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
