ADAM 10 is a member of the ADAM family of membrane-anchored cell surface proteins, which contain both a disintegrin and a metalloprotease domain. ADAM 10 is expressed in a wide variety of tissues and resides on both the cell surface and within the cytoplasm. ADAM10 has been implicated in proteolytic release of a number of cell surface proteins in particular TNF alpha. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa214-672 from human ADAM10, fused to N-terminal 6x His-tag, expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot as a control. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
Source: E. coli Purity: Purified (SDS-PAGE) Concentration: As reported Form: Supplied as a liquid in 25mM Tris-HCl, pH6.8, 50mM DTT, 1% SDS, 0.1% Bromophenol Blue, 2.5% glycerol. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
