Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoaffinity chromatography, Immunoprecipitation, Immunoblot (see restrictions under specificity), Immunofluorescence microscopy (only faint reaction).

Recommended Dilution:
Immunoblot: 1:50-1:100 (ECL method)

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute to 1ml final volume.

Specificity:

Antigen recognized in Human in Species (tested so far). Reacts with Rep proteins (Rep78, Rep68, Rep52 and Rep40) of human AAV-2-infected cells. Shows low affinity which is most useful in affinity chromatography experiments where mild conditions can be used for dissociation of the antigen. In immunoblotting it reacts mainly with Rep52 and Rep40, faint reaction with Rep78 and Rep68.
