Technical Data
Adenovirus (FITC)
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and FLISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunofluorescence: 1:5-1:25. Direct FA staining of target antigens in a permissive tissue culture system. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining.
FLISA: 1:2500.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
PabIgGHighly Purified

2-2.5 mg/ml
Purified, disrupted Adenovirus Type 5 virions.
Purified IgG fraction to a purity of > 95%.
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide, 10% BSA before the addition of glycerol to 40%. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Recognizes Adenovirus. Does not crossreact with Para 1-3, Infl. A & B ,hMPV or Rhinovirus (type 16). Uninfected Cell Reactivity: Negative vs. HE-p2, LLCMK2 and Vero cells by indirect immunofluorescence. Reactive with types 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Broad reactivity with most/all Adeno types expected.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
