Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and IFA. Not recommended for use with methanol-fixed cells. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Pair:
Suitable for use as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody.
Matched to A0880-01A, A0880-01E Adenovirus, Type 6 as the capture or solid phase antibody.

Storage and Stability:

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity:
Recognizes the hexon group antigen of Adenovirus. Reactive with Adenovirus types 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Other types not tested. Does not react with Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, Parainfluenza 1, 2 & 3, Mycoplasma pneumonia, H. pylori and Mammalian cells.
