Adrenergic Receptor alpha 2a (Alpha-2A Adrenergic Receptor, Alpha-2AAR, alpha2AAR, A2aAR, ADRA2A, ADRA2, ADRA2R, ADRAR, Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptor Subtype C10, Alpha-2A Adrenoceptor, Alpha-2A Adrenoreceptor, ZNF32)
Alpha 2a Adrenergic Receptors (ADRA2A) are multi-pass membrane proteins that belong to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Their function is to mediate the inhibition of adenylate cyclase through the action of G-proteins.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin and formalin): 1-2ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
