Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.

Recommended Secondary Reagents:
F(ab')2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG HRP

Fusion Partners:
Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity:

Recognizes human aggrecan, a proteoglycan component of cartilage matrix. The antibody recognizes an 85kD trypsin derived fragment of aggrecan. Species Crossreactivity: None known.
