Human Akt1 (GenBank Accession No. NM_001014432), full length (a.a. 1-480) with N-terminal GST tag, co-expressed with PDK1 in an Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Specific Activity: ~12pmol/min/ug Assay Conditons: Enzyme reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 50mM HEPES, pH 7.5, 10mM magnesium chloride, 1mM EGTA, 200uM ATP, 0.01% Brij-35, and 2uM substrate (SER/THR 6) at RT for 1 hour. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. Molecular Weight: 60.2kD |
