Technical Data
A1275-02
Albumin, Bovine Serum (BSA) (HRP)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Dot Blot, ELISA, Immunoperoxidase Electron Microscopy and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000
ELISA: 1:20,000-1:80,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:2500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.

Purity:
Purified by delipidation, salt fractionation, ion exchange chromatography and dialysis.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml polyethlene glycol (PEG-8000), 0.01% gentamicin sulfate. Labeled with Horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Specificity:
Recognizes BSA. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-rabbit serum as well as purified and partially purified bovine serum albumin. Crossreactivity against albumin from other tissues and species may occur.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
