Description: Albumin is a stable small polypeptide with a strong antigenicity. Its molecular weight is about 69000. It has a high mobility in electrophoresis, shows macro-heterogeneity especially under pathological conditions and it can bind a large number of physiological and non-physiological molecules. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoelectrophoresis, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:2000-1:10000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:500 Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Horseradish Peroxidase Enriched for isoenzyme C: RZ= 3.2 Enzyme/IgG Protein Molar Ratio (E/P): ~1.7 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light. |
