Technical Data
Amisyn (HSPC156, STXBP6, Syntaxin Binding Protein 6)
Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the 45kD band we observe given the predicted size of approx. 24kD according to NP_054897. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:8,000
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at both approx 25kD and approx 45kD in Human brain extracts at 0.1ug/ml.

Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
PabIgG Affinity Purified
100ug-20CBlue IceHumanGoat
Peptide with sequence SAKSAISKEIFAP, from N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_054897.
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Supplied as a liquid in TBS, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
Recognizes Amisyn. Species Crossreactivity: Human. Expected to crossreact with mouse (100% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
