Description: Amoxicillin is used in the treatment of a number of infections, including acute otitis media, Streptococcal pharyngitis, pneumonia, skin infections, urinary-tract infections, Salmonella, lyme disease, and chlamydia infections. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1500. Sensitivity of ~50pg penicillin, 100pg/ml cloxacillin and 200pg/ml ampicillin, amoxicillin and hetacillin when used with the recommended conjugate (supplied). See A1463A. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. BSA Conjugated Control Included: A1463A: Amoxicillin (BSA) Control. Source: Ascites Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
