ANGPTL7 (Angiopoietin-related Protein 7, Angiopoietin-like Protein 7, Angiopoietin-like Factor, Cornea-derived Transcript 6 Protein, CDT6, UNQ313/PRO35) |
|
|
Description: Angiopoietin-like Factor (ANGPTL7), also known as cornea-derived transcript 6 (CDT6), is a secreted 45kD protein that contains a coiled-coil domain (aa30-110) and a fibrinogen-like domain (aa113-334). ANGPTL7 is expressed in the stromal layer of the cornea, and it forms disulfide-linked homotetramers. It contributes to corneal morphogenesis by suppressing angiogenesis and promoting the deposition of extracellular matrix components. ANGPTL7 is up-regulated in glaucoma and accumulates in the aqueous humor. Mature mouse ANGPTL7 shares 88% and 98% sequence identity with human and rat ANGPTL7. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
