Application:
Suitable for use as a source of goat antibodies to human alpha2AP. Other applications not tested.

Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Purified by caprylic acid and ammonium sulfate precipitations, and solid -phase adsorption to remove unwanted crossreactivity.

Supplied in 10mM HEPES, pH7.4, 0.15M sodium chloride, 50% glycerol.

Specificity:

Specific for alpha2AP as determined by immunoelectrophoresis. Only one band was observed with normal plasma and no reaction with alpha2AP deficient plasma.
