Technical Data
A2298-13D
Antiplasmin, alpha2
Description:
Application:
Suitable for use as a source of sheep antibodies to human alpha2AP. Other applications not tested.

Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen:
Human Antiplasmin, alpha2 (alpha2AP) purified from plasma.
Purity:
Purified by caprylic acid and ammonium sulfate precipitations, and solid -phase adsorption to remove unwanted crossreactivity.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.01M HEPES, pH7.4, 0.1M sodium chloride and 50% glycerol.
Specificity:
Specific for alpha2AP as determined by immunodiffusion. Only one band was observed with normal plasma and no reaction with alpha2AP-deficient plasma.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
