Atg3 (Autophagy-related Protein 3, APG3, APG3-like, AUT1, Protein PC3-96)
Autophagy is a process of bulk degradation of cytoplasmic components by the lysosome or vacuole. ATG3 is an E2-like protein-conjugating enzyme for GABARAPL1, GABARAPL2 and MAPLC3 binding them to PE. ATG3 forms an E1-E2 complex with ATG7 and cross-talks with the ATG12 conjugation system. ATG3 is a cytoplasmic protein that is widely expressed with highest expression in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney, liver and placenta.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. Aliquot and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
