Atg3 (Autophagy-related Protein 3, APG3, APG3-like, AUT1, Protein PC3-96) |
|
|
Description: Autophagy is a process of bulk degradation of cytoplasmic components by the lysosome or vacuole. ATG3 is an E2-like protein-conjugating enzyme for GABARAPL1, GABARAPL2 and MAPLC3 binding them to PE. ATG3 forms an E1-E2 complex with ATG7 and cross-talks with the ATG12 conjugation system. ATG3 is a cytoplasmic protein that is widely expressed with highest expression in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney, liver and placenta. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
