Apolipoprotein C-III (Apo C-III) |
|
|
Description: Apolipoprotein C-III is a very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) protein. It inhibits lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase and it is thought to delay catabolism of triglyceride-rich particles. An increase in apoC-III levels induces the development of hypertriglyceridemia. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10,000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded): 1:50-1:200 Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
