ARAP3 (Arf-GAP with Rho-GAP Domain, ANK Repeat and PH Domain-containing Protein 3, Centaurin-delta-3, Cnt-d3, CENTD3) |
|
|
Description: ARAP3, also known as Centaurin-delta-3, is a 1544aa containing protein with an Arf-GAP domain, three PH domains, a Ras-associating domain, a Rho-GAP domain and a SAM (sterile alpha motif) domain. ARAP3 is a phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent GTPase-activating protein that modulates actin cytoskeleton remodeling by regulating ARF and RHO family members. It is activated by phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P3) binding and can be activated by phosphatidylinositol-3,4-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,4,5)P2) binding, albeit with lower efficiency. ARAP3 acts on ARF6, RAC1, RHOA and CDC42 and also plays a role in the internalization of anthrax toxin. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:100-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
