Description: The vasopressin V1B receptor is a member of the Vasopressin/Oxytocin Family subfamily. The V1B receptor is expressed specifically in pituitary corticotropes and mediates the stimulatory effect of vasopressin on adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) release. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000, 0.05-0.2ug/ml Western Blot: 0.05-0.2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3.75ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
