Arginyl-tRNA Synthetase (RARS, MGC8641, DALRD1, ArgRS, arginyl-tRNA synthetase, arginine tRNA ligase 1, cytoplasmic)
Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid. Because of their central role in linking amino acids with nucleotide triplets contained in tRNAs, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are thought to be among the first proteins that appeared in evolution. Arginyl-tRNA synthetase belongs to the class-I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:128,000
Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml ~75kD band observed in lysates of HeLa and HepG2 (calculated MW of 75.4kD according to NP_002878.2).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
