D-Aspartic Acid (D-Aspartate), Conjugated
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunocytochemistry:1:1000-1:5000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Specificity:
Using a conjugate D-Aspartic acid-(Pc), antibody specificity was performed with an ELISA test by competition experiments with the following compounds

Compound Cross-reactivity ratio
D-Aspartic acid-G-(Pc) 1
L-Aspartic acid-G-(Pc) 1/>10,000
D-Glutamic-G-(Pc) 1/>50,000
L-Glutamic-G-(Pc) 1/>50,000
N-Methyl-D-Aspartic acid 1/>50,000

(a): D-Aspartic-G-(Pc) concentration/Other conjugated amino acids concentration at half displacement.
G = Glutaraldehyde.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
