AU5 (TDFYLK) Epitope Tag (FITC) |
|
|
Description: AU5 is a commonly used epitope tag engineered onto the N- or C- terminus of a protein of interest so that the tagged protein can be analyzed and visualized by immunochemical methods. The recognized AU5 epitope represents the amino acid sequence TDFYLK. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:400 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. |
