Technical Data
A4950
Azelaic acid, Conjugated
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:2000-1:5000
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Specificity:
Using a conjugate Azelaic acid-Protein, antibody specificity was performed with an ELISA test by competition experiments with the following compounds :

Compound Cross-reacvity ratio (a) Azelaic acid-BSA 1
Oleic acid-BSA 1:> 50,000
Adipic acid-BSA 1:7,000

(a) : Azelaic acid-BSA concentration/unconjugated or conjugated analogs concentration at half displacement ;
BSA = Bovine Serum Albumin.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
