Technical Data
Bad (Bcl2 Antagonist of Cell Death) (Control Peptide)
Molecular Biology Storage: -20CShipping: Blue Ice
15aa near the C-terminus of human Bad (1).

The peptide is used for blocking the activity of Bad (Bcl-2-like 8) antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37C.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
