Human BAFF is a newly discovered novel ligand of the TNF family. BAFF plays an important role as costimulator of B cell proliferation and function. Source: Recombinant human soluble BAFF, aa134-285, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: 17kD Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to stimulate human B lymphocyte cells. The ED50 of this effect is between 5-10ng/ml Endotoxin: 1EU/ug (LAL) Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 17kD |
Source: E. coli Purity: 98% (SDS-PAGE and HPLC) Concentration: As reported Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute with ddH2O or PBS. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
