Description: BRCA1 Associated Protein 1 (BAP1) is an 81kD protein encoded by the BAP1 gene with a predicted length of 729 amino acids. It is proposed to be a tumor suppressor gene by enhancing the BRCA1 mediated inhibition of breast cancer cell growth. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human breast and ovarian tumor tissue. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
