Technical Data
Basic Hair Keratin, K85 (KRT85, Keratin 85, HB5, Hb-5, hHb5, K12.12, K85, Keratin, type II cuticular Hb5, KRTHB5, Type II hair keratin Hb5)
Type II hair keratin is one of the two types of hair keratin. It is a basic protein which heterodimerizes with type I hair keratins to form hair and nails.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:200. Preincubate fixed sections with 0.1 Triton X-100 (in PBS) for 1-5 minutes prior to first incubation step. Incubation time: 1 hour at RT.
