BCKDHA, CT (2-oxoisovalerate Dehydrogenase Subunit alpha, Mitochondrial, Branched-chain alpha-keto Acid Dehydrogenase E1 Component alpha Chain, BCKDH E1-alpha, BCKDE1A) |
|
|
Description: The branched-chain alpha-keto acid (BCAA) dehydrogenase(BCKD) complex is an innter mitochondrial enzyme complex that catalyzes the second major step in the catabolism of the branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. The BCKD complex consists of three catalytic components: a heterotetrameric (alpha2-beta2) branched-chain alpha-keto acid decarboxylase (E1), a dihydrolipoyl transacylase (E2), and a dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (E3). BCKDHA is the alpha subunit of the decarboxylase (E1) component. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
