BCA-1 Human, Recombinant (B Cell Attracting Chemokine1, B Lymphocyte Chemoattractant, BLC, CXCL13, BLR1 Ligand) |
|
|
Description: BCA-1/BLC, a CXC chemokine, is expressed in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, appendix and stomach. It exerts its activities through its only receptor CXCR5. BCA-1/BLC is a potent chemoattractant for B lymphocytes and induces weak chemotactic response in T cells and macrophages. It manifests no activity on neutrophils and monocytes. Recombinant Human BCA-1 is a 10.1 D protein containing 85 amino acid residues including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines. Applications: Suitable for use inDirect ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: >0.5ug/ml. Detects hBCA-1 at 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hBCA-1. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Detects hBCA-1 at 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
