|
Description: BLC (B-lymphocyte chemoattractant, murine equivalent of human B cell-attracting chemokine-1, BCA-1) is a 12kD recently characterized ELR-CXC chemokine. BLC showed high levels of expression in spleen, Peyer's patches, and mesenteric lymph nodes. It is reported as the ligand of CXCR5. It attracts primarily B cells in vitro. Cell lines transfected with CXCR5 demonstrate both chemotaxis and calcium flux in response to BLC. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
