Recombinant Human beta-defensin-1 (BD-1) is an antimicrobial peptide, which belongs to the distinct family of beta-defensins. Source: E.coli Amino Acid Sequence: GNFLTGLGHR SDHYNCVSSG GQCLYSACPI FTKIQGTCYR GKAKCCK Form: Sterile-filtered solution lyophilized from 10mM sodium citrate, pH 4.0 Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract CD34+ dendritic cells using a concentration range of 100.0-1000.0 ng/ml Purity: 95% by SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1–1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Stability: Lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted human BD-1 should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Country of Origin : USA Molecular Weight: 3.9kD |
