Benzoylecgonine (Cocaine)
Description:
Benzoylecgonine is the predominant cocaine metabolite. This compound is not biologically active, but is used as an indicator of cocaine use.

Applications:
Suitable for use in competitive RIA, or ELISA for BE, or cocaine quantitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Ascites

Af nity Constant:
5.8 x 10e9

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
