Description:
BIN-1 is a tumor suppressor protein that was identified in a genetic screen for proteins that interact with the MCY oncoprotein. BIN-1 inhibits the oncogenic activity of MYC, possibly through activating or facilitating apoptosis. BIN is a short-lived protein with a half-life of about 2 hours.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
