BIRC2 (Baculoviral IAP Repeat-containing Protein 2, C-IAP1, IAP Homolog B, Inhibitor of Apoptosis Protein 2, IAP-2, hIAP-2, hIAP2, RING Finger Protein 48, TNFR2-TRAF-signaling Complex Protein 2, API1, IAP2, MIHB, RNF48)
Description:
The inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) family of proteins regulates programmed cell death triggered by various stimuli. All IAPs have at least one baculovirus IAP repeat (BIR) motif that is essential for their anti-apoptotic activity. c-IAP1 and c-IAP2, that are closely related mammalian members of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) family originally identified in baculoviruses.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:500
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml
