BLM Associated Protein (BLAP75, BLAP-75, 75kD, RMI1, RMI-1, RecQ-mediated Genome Instability 1, C9orf76, Chromosome 9 Open Reading Frame 76) |
|
|
Description: BLAP75 is an integral component of the Bloom's (BLM) syndrome complex. In response to DNA damage it co-localizes with BLM in subnuclear foci. Its depletion impairs the recruitment of BLM to these foci and results in an elevated frequency of sister chromatid exhange. It is also required for BLM mitotic phosphorylation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation,. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
