BMAL1 (MOP3, Members of PAS Superfamily, Brain And Muscle ARNT-like 1, JAP3, PAS3, CYCLE) |
|
|
Description: MOP3 (BMAL1), a general dimerization partner for a subset of the bHLH-PAS (basic-helix-loop-helix-PER-ARNT-SIM) superfamily of transcription regulators, is involved in circadian rhythm generation. MOP3 interacts with MOP4, CLOCK, hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha and -2 alpha. This interaction appears to be distinct from that of the more characterized general partner, ARNT (HIF-1 beta). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml using 1ug/ml Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml using ECL. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
