Recombinant Human BRAK is a newly discovered CXC chemokine. BRAK shares 30% identity with MIP-2 alpha and beta and shares several biological activities. Human BRAK is an 9.4kD protein containing 77 amino acid residues. Source: E.coli Form:Supplied as a lyophilized powder. No preservatives added. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile buffer. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 3 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Reconstitution: Reconstitutie with water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers. Biological Activity: Determined by it’s ability to chemoattract activated monocytes using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml.
