BRCA1 (Breast Cancer Type 1 Susceptibility Protein, RING Finger Protein 53, RNF53) |
|
|
Description: The BRCA1 tumor suppressor protein has many reported functions. In addition to mediating signal transduction in DNA damage and repair responses, BRCA1 regulates transcriptional activity and assists in the preservation of chromosomal stability. BRCA1 is one of the first proteins recruited to sites of DNA double-strand breaks, and serves as part of a scaffold for assembling other DNA damage response or repair factors. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 5-15ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
