Description: Control of actomyosin interactions in smooth muscle and nonmuscle cells (could act as a bridge between myosin and actin filaments). Inhibits the actin-activated ATPase of myosin this inhibition is attenuated by calcium-calmodulin and is potentiated by tropomyosin. Interacts with actin, myosin, 2 molecules of tropomyosin and with calmodulin. Application: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH20. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
