CAMK2B, CT (D406) (Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent Protein Kinase Type II Subunit beta, CaM-kinase II Subunit beta, CaM Kinase II Subunit beta, CaMK-II Subunit beta, CAMK2B, CAM2, CAMKB) |
|
|
Description: CAMK2B belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family and to the Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily. Calcium signaling is crucial for several aspects of plasticity at glutamatergic synapses. In mammalian cells, the enzyme is composed of four different chains: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. This protein is a beta chain. It is possible that distinct isoforms of this chain have different cellular localizations and interact differently with calmodulin. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
