|
Description: The multifunctional Ca2+/ calmodulin dependent protein kinase II also known as Calium/calmodulin Kinase (CaMK II) is a well known effector of calcium and calmodulin- mediated functions. It is present in many tissue but it is abundant in brain.CaMKII also required for synaptic plasticity such as Long Term Potentiation (LTP), a cellular model for learning and memory. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:100-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
