Calpastatin |

Description: Calpastatin is an endogenous proteinase inhibitor that acts specifically on calpain ( a calcium-dependent cysteine protease). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 ELISA: 1:30,000 (against the immunogen) Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 on 4% paraformaldehyde fixed tissue. Immunocytochemistry: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
