CaM Kinase II, alpha (Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase II)
Description:
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoblot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution: Immunoblot Analysis: 0.5–2ug/ml detects CaM Kinase II, alpha subunit, in bovine brain cytosol and rat brain microsome preparations. Bovine brain cytosol was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-CaM Kinase II (0.5ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat antimouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunohistochemistry: This antibody has been reported to detect CaM Kinase II, alpha subunit, in rat brain coronal sections.1

Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
