CAMKIV (Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent Protein Kinase Type IV, CAM Kinase-GR, CaMK IV, CAMK4)
Description:
CAMK4 belongs to the CAMK1 subfamily of Serine/Threonine Kinases. CAMK4 has been implicated in long term memory, regulation of CRE dependent transcription, and in the control of mitochondrial biogenesis in skeletal muscle. Alternative splicing of CAMK4 generates a testis-specific calspermin transcript.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:5000-1:25,000
Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
