Description: Cathepsin B is a cysteine protease that is known to process a number of proteins. It is up-regulated or redistributed in human and animal tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Sandwich ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml when used as a detection reagent Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Cathepsin B. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
