Cathepsin B (Procathepsin B, Cathepsin B1, APP secretase, APPS, CTSB) (Biotin)
Description:
Cathepsin B is a cysteine protease that is known to process a number of proteins. It is up-regulated or redistributed in human and animal tumors.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Sandwich ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml when used as a detection reagent
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Cathepsin B.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
