CACNA1D (Voltage-dependent L-type Calcium Channel Subunit alpha-1D, Calcium Channel, L Type, alpha-1 Polypeptide, Isoform 2, Rat Brain Class D, RBD, Voltage-gated Calcium Channel Subunit alpha Cav1.3, Cach3, Cacn4, Cacnl1a2, Cchl1a2)
Cacna1d is the neuroendocrine alpha Cav1 subunit of the voltage-gated calcium channel. In mice, it has been suggested that Cacna1d participates in auditory function and cardiac pacemaker activity. At least two isoforms of this gene have been identified.

Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml
Immunocytochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml
Immunoprecipitation: 1-10ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
