Description: Cacna1d is the neuroendocrine alpha Cav1 subunit of the voltage-gated calcium channel. In mice, it has been suggested that Cacna1d participates in auditory function and cardiac pacemaker activity. At least two isoforms of this gene have been identified. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 1-10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
