Chemokine receptors are specialized proteins that function at the surface of cells, and enable chemokines to trigger internal cellular processes. Chemokines and their receptors play a pivotal role in lymphocyte trafficking, recruiting and recirculation. Chemokines act through seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors. The chemokine system is increasingly recognized to play an important role in lymphocyte biology.

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

4. Human CCR3 is a receptor for CC chemokine eotaxin-1 and oetaxin-2. CCR3 is constitutively expressed on eosinophils, small intestine and colon. The human CCR3 protein contains 356 amino acid. Antibody to human CCR3 receptor was generated to a synthetic peptide derived from the amino terminal extracellular domain of the human CCR3 receptor. Goat anti-CCR3 IgG antibody binds to human eosinophils at a dilution of > 1.500.
